15. Walliser Kanne
Information and Reviews
The restaurant has received numerous reviews, with an overall rating of 3.9 stars. Here are some key points summarizing customer reviews:
- I dined here the other night when I was in Zurich. The food was great, I had a raclette for one, which there was sooooo much but when in Switzerland, you have to try it! I had an aperol spritz for my drink and also had the apricot sorbet with apricot schnapps which was a huge portion size so if you’re going to order that, definitely share with someone. While it was a great atmosphere, I was pushed to the side during the dinner rush and had to wait over 45 mins to pay.
- The fondue menu costs 47 francs, since we came together, we were counted for 74 francs without warning from the waiter. The bill was a surprise. The fondue itself was not tasty, too much wine was added to it, which made it bitter. The place stinks of goat cheese, possibly poor ventilation.
- Wanting to experience a delicious Swiss meal and we got it. The Manager was exceptional. Customer service was exceptional. The food was delicious and very very filling. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I highly recommend this location for a delicious meal.
- Service was below average as I wasn't acknowledged for almost 5 minutes after I was seated. Waitress seemed more interested in talking to her friends. Single diners beware of being forgotten. Place had a weird smell to it. Food was average but not horrible. Needed more sauce for the 5 francs more I paid for it on my schnitzel. Wont be heading back.
